This page explains, in plain language, what the Clog Heroes website collects when you use it, what we do with that information and how to reach us about it.

Who We Are

Clog Heroes Plumbing, Sewer & Drain is a trade name of ALCO Services LLC, 2706 Lafayette Blvd, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. In this policy, “Clog Heroes,” “we” and “us” mean ALCO Services LLC. This policy covers this website and the forms on it. It does not cover other websites we link to.

What We Collect

We collect what you type into our forms. This site has three of them: the Instant Estimate, Book a Visit and the Contact form. Depending on the form, we ask for:

• Your name.
• Your phone number.
• Your email address.
• The service address for the job, including ZIP code.
• Job details you choose or type, such as the problem, your home type, how urgent it is, answers to the estimate questions, the arrival window you pick and any notes or message.
• Whether you checked the box to receive text messages, whether you acknowledged the dispatch fee and whether you agreed to our Terms of Service and this policy.

If you call us, we also have your phone number and whatever you tell us about the job.

What Is Collected Automatically

Hosting

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives technical details from your browser when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for and the time.

Spam Protection

Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a form is being sent from a browser and not an automated program. To do that, Turnstile looks at signals from your browser and device. When a form is sent, our server also records your IP address and phone number so it can limit repeated requests.

Address Search

The address field on the estimate and booking forms uses Google Maps to suggest matching addresses as you type. The text you type into that field is sent to Google to find suggestions. Google handles that information under its own privacy policy.

Visit Recordings

This website uses Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors use our pages: clicks, taps, scrolling, mouse movement, page size and errors. We watch these replays and heatmaps to find pages and forms that are hard to use. Clarity never records what you type into form fields, and we set it to hide the text on our pages as well, so a replay shows layout and movement rather than content. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days, apart from a small sample Microsoft keeps for up to 9 months.

How We Use It

• To show your estimate, book your visit or answer your message.
• To check that your address is inside the area we serve.
• To create your customer record and your job or estimate in our scheduling and booking system.
• To call or email you about your request, and to text you if you agreed to texts.
• To send our office an email notification about your request, and to send you a confirmation.
• To block spam and repeated or abusive form submissions.

Where Your Information Goes

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the business and this website, and only so they can do that work for us:

• Our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where every request is stored as a contact record so we can follow up.
• Our scheduling and booking system, where your customer record, address and job or estimate are created.
• Our email delivery service, which sends the office notification and your confirmation email.
• Cloudflare, for hosting, Turnstile and form records.
• Our website chat provider, which runs the chat window on this site. What you type into the chat goes to that provider and to our CRM so we can answer you.
• Google, for address suggestions and website analytics, as described under Cookies and Browser Storage.
• Microsoft, which runs Microsoft Clarity, the visit recordings and heatmaps described under Cookies and Browser Storage. Unlike the companies above, Microsoft may also use what Clarity collects for its own purposes, including improving its products and advertising, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our staff or our business.

Text Messages

The Instant Estimate, Book a Visit and Contact forms each have an optional box for text messages. It is never checked for you, and you can send any form without it. When you check it, you agree to receive Clog Heroes Service Texts at the number you gave us: texts about your request, estimates, appointments and service visits, and replies to messages you send us. We do not send marketing texts through this program, and we would ask for your separate consent before sending any.

For texts, we keep your mobile number, a record of your consent and the messages we exchange. We use them only to send these texts, answer your replies and show that you agreed. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call us at (540) 518-2564. The full program terms are in our Terms of Service.

We do not share, sell or provide your mobile phone number or your text-message consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing listed under Where Your Information Goes never includes your text-message opt-in data or consent, except with the companies that deliver our texts for us.

Cookies and Browser Storage

This website shows no ads. It uses Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, and a few tools keep small pieces of information in your browser:

• Analytics. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits and see which pages people use and which forms they send. It does not receive the details you type into our forms. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
• Visit recordings and heatmaps. Microsoft Clarity sets two cookies on this site: _clck keeps a random visitor ID for up to one year, and _clsk links the pages of one visit for up to one day. It also keeps a tab ID, _cltk, in session storage. Microsoft may set its own cookies on its clarity.ms domain, such as MUID, which Microsoft uses across its services, including for advertising. Microsoft explains how it uses this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement at microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement. You can opt out of Clarity by choosing Microsoft at optout.aboutads.info, and Clarity honors the Global Privacy Control setting in browsers that send it.
• Website chat. The chat window loads after you scroll, from our chat provider at createassistants.com. That provider may set its own cookies or browser storage to keep your conversation open as you move between pages.
• Spam check. Our forms load Cloudflare Turnstile in a small frame served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may use cookies or browser storage inside that frame to tell people apart from automated programs, and only for that security check.
• Address search. When the estimate or booking form loads Google Maps address suggestions, Google may set or read its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
• Saved progress. The Instant Estimate and Book a Visit forms save your answers in your browser's session storage so a page refresh does not lose them. That copy stays on your device. It is removed when you send the form and is gone once you close the tab.
• Visit source. Your browser's local storage keeps a short note of how you first reached this site and how you most recently arrived (the referring site, any campaign tags in the link, the page you landed on, and when), and our forms send it with your request so we know which of our ads and listings bring customers to us; it stays on your device until you clear your browser's site data.
• Repeat sends. After you send an estimate or booking request, your browser's local storage keeps a short note of it: a request number, the time, and your phone number, problem and ZIP code. The forms use it for one hour to avoid sending the same request twice. It stays on your device until you clear your browser's site data.

The site does not use a Facebook pixel or embedded YouTube players. Our videos are served from this website.

You can block or delete cookies and clear stored site data in your browser's settings, usually under Privacy or Site Data. If you block Cloudflare's or Google's cookies, the spam check or the address suggestions may stop working; blocking analytics cookies changes nothing you can see. You can always call us instead.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your request and customer record for as long as we need it to serve you, keep accurate business and tax records and meet our legal duties. Rate-limit records used for spam protection are kept only as long as they are useful for that purpose.

Your Choices

• You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Call us or write to us at the address below.
• You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You can use this website without filling in any form, and call us instead.

We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request. Where the law requires it, we may keep some records.

Children

This website is for adults arranging work on their homes. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
